for more than 20 years now, germany has been a productive playground for pioneers of new instrumental music. projects like kraftwerk and tangerine dream were part of a musical revolution - they still inspire artists throughout the world, even in techno or hip-hop. the sound and sample technology allows more and more experiments, and still there´s a very innovative scene in europe, especially in germany.
we long to the new generation of this sound idea. in the last 8 years, we built up an immense sound library in our studios in braunschweig, near berlin, the new capital of germany. a dream came true, the first cds brought such great response in the u.s. - power play on more than 400 radio stations nationwide, top 10 entry in the billboard charts, live tours - what a thrill.
we´ve always planned to create and produce a new groove-based style - r&b and hip-hop beats meet ambient atmospheres.
dancing fantasy stands for all this - great musicians, great ideas and great atmospheres.
we are sound designers. our mission is to present acoustic dimensions to your eardrums: laid-back grooves, cool basslines, soft pads, smooth melodies, supported by great musicians on guitar, sax and piano.
when the sun goes down, we meet in our stuio, set our instruments and get ready to groove. sound layers build musical paintings, sometimes it takes weeks to find the right combination. after all there´s a really unique style. compact, but never over-produced or over-loaded, reduced to the basics. compositions that come directly from our hearts to your hearts. we live this music and we want you to be a part of it.
in a digital, cool world full of hectic pace, we bring warmth, relaxation and smooth grooves.
it works, even though we use computers and synthesizers, because we try to do it the right way.
